Jessica Nehring was appointed Alderman, Ward 2, on July 1, 2020, and was elected to a four year term in April, 2021. She has lived in Byron for 21 years. The generosity of residents towards others who are facing adversity, the fantastic schools, beautiful parks and Forest Preserve, the Byron Library, local businesses, and family friendly events, are what Jessica, her husband, and her two children, enjoy most about this community. Jessica welcomes the opportunity to represent the community she grew up in, and looks forward to communicating the needs and concerns of the residents in her ward. “I’m very honored and excited about this opportunity and to see all of the amazing things Byron has in store.
