Ron Boyer, Alderman Ward 1, was appointed in March, 2023. Ron is a lifelong resident of Byron. He is married to Kim and they have raised three sons, Jeff, Michael and David, in Byron. Ron retired from the State of Illinois Division of Vehicles in 2017.
Ron embraces the small town feel of Byron and appreciates all that it has to offer its citizens. Not all communities of Byron’s size offer the same quality of life.
“I feel honored to serve the citizens in this community that has been exceptionally good to my family. I will work hard to represent the wishes and needs of my constituents and welcome all communications from citizens that would like to contact me.”
