Land Use and Development
The City’s Building and Zoning Department oversees land use and development within the city limits. They issue various building and zoning permits. Casper Manheim is the City's Building Inspector. He can be reached at 815-440-2146.
The City’s Zoning Board helps to assure that development occurs in an orderly manner. They monitor the City’s long-term plans for development and try to assure that individual projects do not impair the eventual fulfillment of these planning goals.
