Experience:
Roxanne Sosnowski focuses her practice in the areas of municipal and local government law, labor and employment and commercial real estate. Within this practice, Roxanne represents management interests in virtually all aspects of the employment relationship with their employees, including counseling employers with respect to the hiring process, discipline and separation of their employees, negotiating collective bargaining agreements, handling grievances and arbitrations, and if necessary, the representation of employers in connection with litigated disputes. She has represented employers in a wide variety of matters before state courts and administrative agencies. Her commercial real estate practice includes property development and zoning issues.
Roxanne also represents municipalities and other divisions of local government in the formation and administration of tax increment financing districts and other municipal financing mechanisms in addition to serving as general counsel on day-today governance matters. Roxanne previously has served in the civil division of the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office and of the Boone County State’s Attorney’s Office.
