RFP Questions and Answers

Question 1: The RFP mentions an update to the North Tower Road Drainage Basin Plan as an element. We reviewed this element in the current Comp Plan and wondered what has changed in this area that should be taken into account when updating this element?

Answer 1:  There has been no substantial change to the North Tower Road Drainage Basin.  It remains largely undeveloped.

Question 2:  What types of public engagement activities have been successful for the City in the last few years? What types of activities have seen low participation?

Answer 2:  Social media has shown to be fairly successful in reaching residents. Since 2020, there has been a lack of activities seeking public engagement.

Question 3:  Is there a budget for this Comp Plan Update?

Answer 3:  The City has a number that has been discussed as a possible cost.  We are looking for the RFP’s to provide costs for the services that have been requested.

Question 4:  Is there a current City Capital Improvement Plan that can be referenced to assist in completing the Implementation Element?

Answer 4:  The formation of a Capital Improvement Plan is currently underway.
